Job Title: District Managers Teachers Student Program (09)

Indus Resource Centre (IRC) is an implementing partner of ED-LINKS, a project funded by USAID under a Cooperative Agreement designed to facilitate implementation of government agenda for quality education at middle and secondary levels in Pakistan. Program activities are aimed at improving student learning, teacher education and professional development, public sector capacity building and fostering learning environments, IRC is seeking dynamic and experienced professionals for ED-Links project activities at targeted government schools in following selected districts of Sindh: Jacobabad, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Sukkur Nawabshah, Sanghar, Dadu, Mirpurkhas and Tharparkar.

General Description of Role: The District Manager Teacher Students Program is responsible for planning and implementation of programs to improve quality of education at middle and secondary education level in the public sector.

Qualification & Experience:

1. MA/ M.Sc. with B.Ed / from recognized university.
2. At least 10 years experience in classroom teaching at middle and higher level and at least 3 year experience in teacher education in reputable institutions.
3. Experience in planning, implementation and management of educational programs preferably in Government schools.
4. Written and oral communication skills in English, Sindhi/Urdu and knowledge of computer skills.
