TENDER NOTICE

SUPPLY OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT FOR "DEVELOPMENT OF QUEST PHASE-II PROJECT" QUEST, NAWABSHAH

Sealed tenders are invited on prescribed forms from the enlisted with QUEST or registered as A-type equipment manufacturers / suppliers with any government organization /department directly or through their authorized agents / distributors in Pakistan, for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the lab equipment for "Development of QUEST Phase-II Project" @ Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering , science & technology, Nawabshah.

The purchase will be financed out of the funds received from the Government of Pakistan for the above mentioned approved scheme of the university.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. The tenders are required to be submitted in duplicate by the firms / manufacturers / suppliers registered with Sales Tax Department on the prescribed tender form and in accordance with the specifications laid down in the tender document.

2. The tender documents may be obtained from 28-07-2008 upto 26-08-2008 from the office of the undersigned or through post (by enclosing A4 size self addressed envelope) against payment of Rs. 1,000/- each as tender fee in the form of (non-refundable) pay order/bank draft drawn in favour of Director Finance QUEST, Nawabshah.

3. No tender documents will be issued on the date of opening.

4. Bids accompanied by D.D of 5% earnest money in sealed envelope may be deposited in person or sent by registered post to reach the undersigned before 12:00 noon or before  26-08-2008. The bids opened on the same day i.e. 26-08-2008 @01:00 pm in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives. In case of any holiday of disturbance the tender will be opened on the next day as per schedule.

5. The firm desirous of purchasing tender documents or seeking any calcification may contact the undersigned on phone No. 9370362 (code 0244) or through post.

6. Competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders divide business amongst more then one bidders, increase or decrease the quantities of demanded stores and extend the opening date & time without assigning any reason thereof.

7. The university reserves the right to accept any or all bids without assigning any reason.

Note: All the items must be manufactured by well known companies of international repute.
