Minimum Qualification
Ph. D. From an HEC recognized Institution in a relevant field.

Experience
15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
OR
10-years post-Ph.D teaching / research Experience in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications / Achievements
Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and a national or international contribution to the development of Art and Design in general.
(Demonstrated by at least 8 solo exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibitions or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Art and Design as specified in the research criteria).
OR
The applicant must have 08 research publications with at least 03 publications in last five years.

Minimum Number of Publications / Achievements
Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and a national or international contribution to the development of Art and Design in general.

NOTE

1. Regional / Provisional Quota will be observed as per Government rules and instructions.
2. All eligible candidates should apply on the application from available in the Directorate of the Centre on the payment of Rs. 500/-. Out station candidates can obtain the aforesaid Application Form by sending pay order / draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Director, CEAD along-with (02) self addressed envelop with treasury stamps of Rs. 25/-each.
3. Separate application will be accepted for each position.
4. (A)    Age relaxation as announced by the Federal Government will be followed.
   (B)    Upper age limit for teaching staff can be further relaxed in case of suitability.
5. The dates for Written Test and Interviews to the short listed candidates will be intimated individually or to be uploaded on the website of the Centre that is www.cead.edu.pk. If any Application is found incomplete with the requirements, or received after due date will not be enterained.
6. From serial No 01 to 04, if the sufficient number of applicants having 1st Division are not available, then the Selection Board of the Centre may recommend the cases of suitable candidates having 2nd division to the Center for formal apporval from HEC, Islamabad.
7. Duly attested photocopies of the relevant testimonials / documents or as suggested below should reach the undersigned not later the Saturday 16th August 2008 by 03:00pm.
