in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production activities in 21 countries worldwide.
OMV (Pakistan) exploration GmbH, with its head office in Islamabad, is a
subsidiary of OMV AG. The Company has an active exploration program in Pakistan
in different concession areas. OMV Pakistan is producing gas from its Miano and
Sawan fields in districts Sukkur and Khairpur in Sindh.
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced
individuals to fill the following field based positions.
Senior Electrical Engineer (Permanent)
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and Organize electrical maintenance activities
to maximize plant availability so that sales gas volumes and quality targets
are met
- Organize/supervise and execute plant yearly turnarounds
with in budget and planned time
- Implement HSE policies, standards and procedures to
ensure that HSE objectives and targets are met
- Prepare and manage Electrical Maintenance budget to
ensure expenses remain in line with business plan
- Increase plant reliability, availability through
implementation of CMMS, S-RCM and RBI strategies so that business plan
objectives are met
- Improve quality of electrical maintenance through in
time preventive maintenance of equipments through proper planning with minimum
of % repeat jobs and minimizing breakdowns
- Plan & organize Training Needs Analyses and develop
electrical maintenance staff to ensure that their competencies and skills are
improved
- Prepare, update and review Job Plans, Work Instructions
and Procedures for electrical maintenance so that up-to-date guidance and
procedural coverage is available to all concerned
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or
equivalent
- Minimums of 08 years experience with in the Oil and Gas
/ Petrochemical Industry with minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory
capacity
- Work experience on MC/LV power generation &
distribution systems, protection relays induction motors and motor control
centres, UPS systems and battery banks, hazardous area classified equipment,
etc
- Should have knowledge of International Codes and
Standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, etc., HSEQ systems such as Risk
Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, HAZOP, HAZID, etc
- The position requires proficiency in MS office
programs, written and spoken English
Engine Maintenance (Mechanical) Engineer (Contract)
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist Maintenance Superintendent in planning and
budgeting mechanical maintenance work
- Assist to improve availability and reliability of
operation with in design and operating limits through effective mechanical
maintenance
- Carry out trouble shooting and execution of top end and
major overhauling of Gas and Diesel Engines
- Carry out risk assessment and Job safety Analysis of
critical jobs
- Develop maintenance procedures for Turbo Charged Gas
and Diesel Engines
- Supervise Mechanical maintenance work in field (Plant
and Wells)
- Liaise with the Electrical, Instrument, Inspection and
Planning engineers to enable efficient scheduling of maintenance jobs
- Report & Data input into CMMS to ensure proper
equipment performance monitoring (failure cause & analysis, meantime between
repair)
- Training of mechanical personnel and provide hands on
guidance in routine Maintenance, top and major overhauling
- Ensure safe working condition of all tools, lifting and
mobile equipment and vehicles
- Ability to carry out root cause analysis of failures,
reclamation of used spare parts, optimization of inventory levels and
evaluation of MTBF of mechanical equipment
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 8 years hands on experience of trouble
shooting, top end and major overhauling of Turbo charged after cooled gas and
diesel Engines
- Proven ability to interact effectively with people
- Experience in application of proven application in
maintenance integrity principles
- Proven Quality Assurance knowledge
- Crisis resolution skills
